The 2009 project will follow the following timeline:

January 2 - January 28, 2012		Open registration period
January 30 - February 10, 2012		Create a wall map of the trail
February 13 - February 24, 2012		Select a musher to follow in the race
February 27 - March 2, 2012		Prepare your class for the big event
March 3, 2012 - end of the race		Follow your musher and post to each checkpoint's blog as he or she progresses!
March 31, 2012		Receive an official 2012 eIditarod class certificate for completion of the trail!
