One of the first tasks we accomplish is to create a wall map that allows us to follow the mushers during the race. Teachers take many different approaches to the challenge. This year we had the extra challenge of the race start being moved 150 miles north of Anchorage to Fairbanks where they had enough snow to make it an event. This made for some major modifications in class maps!
