Dear Jeff King,

My name is Josh. I studied the Iditarod in my sixth grade gifted and talented class. I think you did well to finish third of all the racers. I learned how difficult the race was when I followed you. You should be proud because you were excellent. You beat Alaska's natural dangers.

I think you took those dogs off for speed, but if they got hurt I hope they are okay. We read "Woodsong" by Gary Paulsen and learned about dogsledding and the Iditarod. We're making igloos and we are going to make dog sleds as part of the project.
