Sally has pioneered the online conference - at least in the gifted
education area - and provided accessible and affordable online education
online. She has been doing this since at least March 2004 and
she has over 1020 members. The number of conference attendees varies
with each conference, and has included educators, advocates and
parents/guardians.
She gets published authors and "big names" in the Gifted field present
to a group of American and international attendees - many of whom could
not otherwise have access to these speakers. Direct access with
specific questions being answered. Since January 2006, her speakers
have included:
- Annemarie Roeper, Ed.D. on Emotional Giftedness;
- SENG Parent Groups
Board Members - Shari Hill, Dina Brulles, Therese Clifford, Arlene
DeVries, Rosina Gallagher
- Aimee Yermish, Practical advice for teaching
executive functioning and academic skills for gifted children
- Drs Brock and Fernette Eide, The Mislabeled Child: Focus on Gifted
Learners
- Elizabeth Meckstroth, Social Relationships -
Friendships
- Allie Golon, "If You Could See the Way They Think: identifying, nurturing, parenting and teaching gifted
visual-spatial learners"
