| Harry S. Truman’s home state is Missouri, and Missouri is a fun place to visit. One of the best attractions is the St. Louis Arch. It is part of the Jefferson National Expansion Memorial. The Arch is a tall monument (630 feet) shaped like an arch. It is made of metal, and it has windows at the top, so visitors can look out over St. Louis. It is one of the most popular sites in Missouri. Harry would have liked visiting the St. Louis Arch. |

Another very popular site in Truman’s home state is Silver Dollar City. It is a historical amusement park located in Branson, Missouri. It has a bunch of rides, music shows, shops, and craft demonstrations. It also has a water park with BIG slides. It has great food, and it is a good place for the whole family to visit. |
| The Capitol of Truman’s home state is Jefferson City. It is located in the center of the state of Missouri, along the Missouri River. Important Missouri decisions are made here. State Senators and Representatives have their offices in the capital building. There are two historical museums and lots of artwork displayed in the capitol. It is a perfect place for schools to visit during field trips. |
