Theodore Roosevelt was a small and weak as a child. He suffered from asthma and poor eyesight. Before going to college he was educated at home by private tutors. Then he went to Harvard where he did very well academically and in the sport of boxing. He then went to Columbia Law School but dropped out after one year to go into public service.
