Andrew Jackson

 

 

Home State

Andrew Jackson was born in the Waxhaw are on the North and South Carolina border. At a young age he moved to Nashville, Tennessee and would call this his home state. His estate was called the Hermitage. He was the first person that was chosen as a judge by the state senate. He also retired from the supreme court in 1804.
