Huts - 3,000 BC

As humans began to move, following herds of animals for the hunt, they began to build huts out of wood poles and animal skins and bones that they could carry with them and set up wherever they camped.
By 3,000 BC people were starting to live in villages where they could help one another hunt and gather food that grew on plants. Their huts no longer had to be movable.
Huts were the first man-made dwelling in history. Humans were no longer dependent on the location of cavesand other natural shelters to determine where they could live.
